Last Coffee Morning before summer break!
Don´t miss the last International Coffee Morning before the summer break! With this Coffee Morning it will be the 3 years that the english speaking community in and around Mistelbach meets on the last thursday of the month. It was such a pleasure to welcome over 50 english speakers, Austrian and foreigners, in this period of time. Friendships started and lasted until now, we had a good opportunity to brush up our English and taste the international flair of Mistelbach.
On Thursday, June 24 from 10:00 a.m. till noon, we will meet at the Hotel zur Linde, Bahnstrasse 49, 2130 Mistelbach an der Zaya, as usual.

Yesterday the world met again in Mistelbach for the first international Coffee Morning of the year. This time 14 ladies and one man showed up at Hotel zur Linde to have a chat in english. England, Kenya, Hungary, the Philippines, South Africa, Austria and Belgium were represented. Very interesting how many foreigners are living in the district. The atmosphere was very relaxing, we had a good laugh, changed our experiences living in a foreign country and brushed up our english. As always a lot of Austrians, interested in talking english with native speakers or interested in the international community joined the group also. Telephone numbers were exchanged and plans for other activities were made. Again a refreshing experience and reasons enough to go on with this monthly activity.
The international Coffee morning on Thursday, January 28, 2010 had to be cancelled. The Hotel zur Linde is closed this week. Next Coffee morning on Thursday February 25, 2010 from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m.

Yesterday I saw a very nice Film from Alfred Vendl about the Wine District on national Television (ORF 2) . ORF offers a selection of his programs as video on demand.
