Positive side effect of a broken toe
Living in another country, and keeping in touch with good old friends, thanks to the internet, became much easier the last few years.
Although… about 5 or 6 years ago, I moved from Vienna to Mistelbach and one of my dearest friends emigrated away from Belgium. We where both to busy and than too late to inform the other one and our mail returned. Several times I , googled her name without any results. As we do not have any common friends, there was nobody to ask. Until two weeks ago when I brook my toe and was obliged to rest, again I did some research and in half an hour or so her face appeared on my screen. YES !
